A 5E Setting by Dungeon Studios
A world forever transformed by The Shattering — where floating islands drift through endless skies and Wild Magic flows through every living thing.
The Setting
Enoron is a world forever transformed by a catastrophic event known as The Shattering — a moment when the very foundations of the land were violently fractured, splitting the once-solid world into countless pieces, many of which now float high above the surface as majestic islands suspended in the sky.
The Shattering laid bare the planet's core — a roiling wellspring of Wild Magic — a chaotic and unpredictable force that flows through every corner of Enoron, reshaping the land, its inhabitants, and the very nature of reality.

Inhabitants
The inhabitants of Enoron are as diverse as its geography — each race shaped by The Shattering in its own way, adapting to a world of floating islands and Wild Magic.
Ancient and patient, the elves of Enoron remember the world before The Shattering. They channel Wild Magic with a precision no other race can match, maintaining the great arcane gateways and serving as living libraries of lost knowledge.
The engineers of the new world. Gnomes were the first to harness Wild Magic as a fuel source, building the skyships and enchanted gateways that now connect all of Enoron. Without them, the floating islands would be isolated forever.
Infernal blood runs through their veins, and in Enoron that blood has been supercharged by Wild Magic. Tieflings claim the storm-wracked peaks and volcanic floating islands, ruling with a mix of fear, charisma, and raw magical power.
Humanity's greatest strength is adaptability. Scattered across hundreds of islands, human settlements range from humble fishing villages to grand trading empires. They form the backbone of most factions and are found in every corner of Enoron.
Even with the world shattered, dwarves found their footing — literally. They carved their strongholds into the floating mountain ranges, mining the sky-stone that forms the islands' cores and forging weapons that crackle with contained Wild Magic.
Orcs thrive where others cannot. They claim the wild, untamed floating islands — the ones wracked by Wild Magic storms and crawling with mutated beasts. Their culture prizes strength, survival, and an intimate understanding of the chaos that surrounds them.
Descendants of the great dragons who ruled before The Shattering, Dragonborn carry the memory of a lost age in their blood. They seek to reclaim their ancestral territories among the floating islands and restore the draconic legacy to its former glory.
Born directly from the Wild Magic vortex at the moment of The Shattering, The Shattered are neither fully alive nor fully dead. Their bodies are fractured like the world itself — held together by crackling Wild Magic energy that seeps from the cracks in their stone-like skin.
Geography
A grand city suspended in the northern skies, known as a hub of trade and arcane scholarship. Home to the Order of the Eye.
A dwarven stronghold built into the peaks of a massive floating mountain range. Their forges produce Wild Magic-infused weapons.
A city perpetually veiled in magical mist. Its streets shift and its inhabitants guard ancient secrets that predate The Shattering.
A fortified island city commanding the trade winds. Its skyship armada is the largest in Enoron — its walls have never been breached.
The busiest skyship port in the western reaches. Built by gnomes as a neutral waystation, now the most cosmopolitan — and dangerous — city in Enoron.
The eastern gateway to the Veranti territories. A bustling port where skyships from across the world dock to trade goods, secrets, and stories.
A rare place of peace where all factions agree to lay down arms. A magical treaty prevents any act of violence within its borders.
A colossal tower of unknown origin that pierces the clouds, humming with Wild Magic energy. Its upper floors are unreachable by any known means.
A vast untamed island in the far south. Once a great civilization, now its ruins are swallowed by jungle and Wild Magic-warped creatures.
Where The Shattering first struck. A roiling vortex of Wild Magic that warps reality itself. Adventurers who venture too close return changed.
A region of absolute magical corruption where Wild Magic has burned itself out, leaving a dead zone. Something from the other side has begun to seep through.
A city carved into the face of a massive floating mountain. Home to the Stormbreakers — elite warriors who have never lost a siege.
Built among Wild Magic-infused crystal reefs that glow at night. Trades in reef-crystals prized for enchanting and healing magic.
The ruins of one of the greatest pre-Shattering cities. Its shattered towers float in clusters, and scholars risk their lives to study its intact libraries.
A mysterious eastern realm of towering spires, isolated since The Shattering. Its inhabitants have developed magic unlike anything seen elsewhere in Enoron.
